Make Money Online Three New Jersey lawmakers this week launched an effort to prevent Motiva Enterprises, owner of a refinery in Delaware, from pumping sulfur, mercury and other byproducts of the crude oil refining process into the Delaware River.

The company, at a cost of $94 million, is proposing to install two clean-air scrubbers at its Delaware City, Del., refinery. If operational by Dec. 31, 2004, the non-recycling scrubbers would cut emissions of sulfur dioxide at the plant by 27,000 tons per year.
